The first thing to do is to turn off the power, then remove the old fixture (if any) and place the new one. Now, check the screws, if they are loose, you need to tighten them. Connect the wires, install the bulbs, attach the shade, and your installation is complete. Now, you can turn on the light to brighten up your space.
